Forum Rules for Incident Evaluation
Welcome to our community dedicated to fair and constructive incident
review. Our goal is to create a respectful environment where sim
racers can learn, share, and improve their skills through thoughtful
discussion. To ensure a positive experience for all members,
please adhere to the following guidelines:
1. Respect and Courtesy
- Maintain a friendly and respectful tone in all discussions.
- Disagreements should be constructive, not personal.
- Do not shame, insult, or belittle other members or racers featured in
videos.
- Critique the driving, not the driver.
- Do not use offensive language or slurs. Remember, everyone is here to learn and improve.
2. Privacy and Conduct
- Do not post personal information or outside details about racers.
This includes real names, social media handles, or any identifying info.
- Refrain from targeting or "outing" specific racers or engaging in any form of harassment.
- Be mindful that behind every video is a person—treat all community members with the same respect you expect for yourself.
3. Video Submission Guidelines
- Upload clear, unedited videos showing the incident from a consistent
and relevant perspective.
- Include context if needed (e.g., track, lap number, race conditions)
to aid understanding.
- Do not submit videos that contain illegal content, intentional sabotage, or unedited footage that misrepresents the incident.
4. Evaluation Process
- Forum members will discuss and offer their opinions based on standard racing etiquette, rules, and common industry practices.
- The goal is to provide a fair and balanced assessment—not to assign blame outright or declare anyone a “bad driver.”
- Remember that opinions are subjective; respect differing viewpoints.
5. Constructive Feedback
- Critique should be focused on driving behavior and decision-making rather than personal attacks.
- Offer suggestions for improvement rather than criticizing individuals.
- Use language that encourages learning and growth.
6. Avoiding Industry Pitfalls
- Do not engage in "racing shaming," trolling, or inflammatory comments.
- Respect the fact that every driver makes mistakes; our aim is mutual growth, not judgment.
- Refrain from making unsubstantiated accusations or spreading rumors about other racers.
7. Moderator Authority
- Moderators reserve the right to remove posts or comments that violate community guidelines.
- Repeat offenders may be banned to maintain a healthy environment for everyone.
